Passing user defined and advanced filters to reports using Job Manager
Created 2004-06-09 by Tamsila-Q-Siddique
How can I pass user defined and advanced filters to the reports (the filters that are
displayed on the filter form) that are generated by Job Manager Service?
In Monitorware Console 2.0 you can generate reports using the underlying database or from log
files. In some of the reports, you will find the "Advanced Filters"
Button on the Filter Form. These filters are those filters that are required specifically by the current
report and don't have any thing to do with the underlying database. In addition to the advanced filters,
you can also apply
user-defined filters on the underlying database or the log files.
These filters (user defined and the advanced ones) are also be mirrored in the reports that are generated
by Job Manager Service.
On the other hand filter conditions are different for generating reports using
Log Files. The filters (applicable for the log files) listed below are provided by MonitorWare Console
2.0 which you can apply on the reports that would be generated by Job Manager Service:
- All the records
- Records posted in the last 24 hours
- Records posted in the last week
- Records posted in the last month
- Records posted in the last year
- Records posted after the last generation of the report
You can set these values by going in the "Filter Tab" of "Job Manager Settings
Form" which is present in "Options" button in the tool bar at the top.
