Do I need MonitorWareDatabaseUpdater?

Do I need to download and run MonitorWareDatabaseUpdater apart from
downloading and installing MonitorWare Console?
MonitorWare Console 1.0 needs a updated database to work with. Once you
download it you will find this sample database in the installation directory. If
you want to test MonitorWare Console with the sample database then you don't
need this MonitorWareDatabaseUpdater tool because the sample database is already
updated. But if you want to test MonitorWare Console with your existing database
(in which MonitorWare Agent or WinSyslog are logging) then you would have to
download and run the Database Updating Tool from the following link:
MonitorWareDatabaseUpdater
We strongly recommend that this tool should be run *After* MonitorWare
Console has been downloaded and installed because this tool needs dot Net Run
Time and ODBC Dot Net and both of them are installed with the installation of
MonitorWare Console. Please note that this tool is provided for the interim
period. In MonitorWare Console 1.1 and above, this tool will not be needed any
more because MonitorWare Console will automatically update the database if
needed.
