EventID.NET License Options

EventID.NET is a web ressource that helps you with troubleshooting events. If you have an account there, you can enter it here. By doing so, the account information will be used whenever you access an eventid.net link. Please note that eventid.net is a third-party ressource with which Adiscon is not affiliated. We provide support for it as a convenience.

You can access this by clicking on Options -> EventID.net License Options. Once clicked, the following dialog box will be displayed:

In this form, you can enter the License Name and the key given by EventID.net. Even if you don't enter the License Name and Key, you still will be able to search for event ids (on EventID.net site) that are displayed in the reports. However, with the license, you get some additional benefits. Please see the eventid.net site to see the actual benefits.

The fields used in this form are described below:

License Name: License Name given by EventID.net

License Key: License Key given by EventID.net

OK: Saves the settings and closes the form

Cancel: Closes the form without saving the information
