HTML Report Related Options
The HTML Report Format was already used in previous versions of MonitorWare Console. It creates a HTML based report with all the info that is extracted from your log files or log database according to the filters you set. This old-fashioned method is still well suited to create reports which are viewable on nearly any basic setup of actual operating systems by default.
Use legacy HTML Report Format
If selected Reports are generated in HTML format. This was the only format available in previous versions of MonitorWare Console.
Pick images from
This option allows you to pick images from web or from the local disk
Select Template for Generated Report
You can select various templates for the HTML reports that will be generated. Test them if you want and choose which one suits you the best.
Open report after creation
If activated, the report will open up after it has been successfully created.
Crystal Report related Options
The Crystal Reports give your reports some new paint. The Crystal Reports engine is capable of creating Reports in different formats. Now it's up to you which you like. You can either choose HTML reports for embedding in your intranet website, PDF for e-mail attachments or excel sheets. Simply choose the format you require.
Use Crystal Report Format (more flexible and more options)
If selected Reports are generated by using Crystal Report engine. Crystal Report format gives a great opportunity to get reports in the format you prefer.
Open in Report Viewer after creation
If checked after generation the report will be displayed in the Crystal Report Viewer.
Export Report into File after creation
If checked writes the report in the selected format to disk.
Open generated report after creation
Display the generated report after creation if checked.
