In this module, there is a concept of Global Settings. Global Settings are the settings that will be applied to all the newly created views by default, although you have the flexibility to modify them for each view definition individually. To initialize Global Settings or Common View Settings, go to the Options Button in the Main Tool bar and click on "Common View Settings". A dialog box similar to the one shown in the following figure will open up:

This dialog box has five tabs. The following sections will describe each tab in detail.
